Greenway Communications is a 15+ year-old rural telecom operator that grew out of small-town Iowa and now delivers carrier-grade voice and infrastructure services to operators nationwide.
Greenway Communications was founded in 2009 to serve rural Iowa communities — Reasnor, Searsboro, Killduff, Sully, and Lynnville — with reliable phone service in a market the big telcos had walked away from. Over the past 15+ years we've grown that footprint into a national carrier and infrastructure operation.
Our Iowa office shares facilities with Sully Telephone Association, the long-established local exchange carrier serving Sully and the surrounding area. Sharing a building with a fellow rural ILEC keeps us close to the operational realities our wholesale and FTTH customers care about — line-by-line.
Today, Greenway operates from offices in rural Iowa and rural New York. We're an FCC-authorized LEC. We sign A-level STIR/SHAKEN attestation in-house. We've engineered our own routing for Rural Call Completion. And we still answer the phone at our original five-town residential exchange.
"Integrity in Telecom." Our business practices are professional and transparent — no under-the-line fees, no surprise surcharges, no hidden margins on pass-through costs. We publish our rates. We negotiate pass-through pricing transparently with our customers. And what we quote is what you pay.
That sounds like the bar should be low. In our industry, it isn't.
We run five lines of business:
And we still deliver local residential and business phone & internet service to our original rural footprint.
We don't resell. We operate. The same engineers who designed the network answer the trouble ticket. The same person who recorded your IVR prompts can re-record them this afternoon if you need a change. The same team that runs our own platform can deploy one for you.
That's only possible because we kept the company small and deliberate. We'd rather take on one client a quarter and over-deliver than scale into mediocrity.
